Happy Christmas Eve everyone! I hope you have all of your affairs in order and are all having a wonderful day. I'm working until 1 o'clock and then heading over to our annual family Christmas Eve party later tonight and I can't wait! This is my absolute favorite time of the year. Anyway, these nails were inspired by my obsession with glittery reindeer this season. I know it's weird, but I can't help it! I'm hoping to pick up a couple on sale after Christmas. ;)
I used Zoya Godiva on my pointer and ring nails and plain black on my pinky and middle nails. I wish Godiva had photographed the way it looks in real life; it's so sparkly but it doesn't translate at all in the photos! I used Godiva to paint my little reindeer as well and finished him off with a China Glaze Just BeClaws nose. I also did some Just BeClaws dots on the rest of my nails to tie the look together.
See you tomorrow for the last day of the Twelve Days of Christmas nail art series!!

Zoya Magical Pixie PixieDust Spring 2014 Collection Swatches/Review
Hey everybody! Happy First Day of Spring! I know I've been gone for a long time and I won't bore you with the details, but I've been really busy lately and blogging has had to sit on the back burner for a while. I've been missing it, so I'm getting back into the swing of things and trying to set aside some time each week for swatching and writing. :) Today I have swatches of the new Zoya PixieDust collection for you!
Cosmo is a chunky silver texture with glitter of all sizes. This is two coats with no top coat.
Vega is a beautiful crystal blue polish with tons of sparkle. I love that Zoya added chunky glitters to their PixieDust polishes. It adds such dimension! This is two coats.
Lux is a gorgeous pale pink. I'm wearing two coats, but I could have used a third or done the second coat thicker.
The PixieDusts retail for $10/bottle and can be purchased from www.zoya.com. If you are a fan of the original PixieDusts, you're going to love these! They're absolutely stunning.

TDOCNAS: Day 10: Textured Ornament Nail Art
Happy Friday!! I'm so excited for this weekend so I can finish up some wrapping and just relax. The past few weeks have been so crazy and as much as I love the holidays, I can't wait for things to calm down a bit. I wanted to do ornament nails since last year and my initial inspiration was to do them as half moons, but I like how they turned out at the tips!
I started out with a base of China Glaze Cranberry Splash and used a matte top coat over it. I painted the ornaments using OPI Honey Ryder, Zoya Chita, Zoya Sunshine, and OPI Baby Please Come Home. To finish the design, I used a nail art brush to create the ornament tops and string with Zoya Trixie.
What do you think? Did you put up a tree this year? Real or fake? We went to a tree farm and picked out our tree this year and it's so full and wild, I love it!!

OPI San Francisco Collection Review/Swatches
Hey everyone! This is another collection that I'm way behind on posting, but I've been getting a lot done around here so I'm finally ready to share it. The OPI San Francisco collection should still be out and available in stores now and you should definitely be able to find it online if you are looking!
Alcatraz... Rocks is one of the three liquid sand polishes released with this collection. It's a gorgeous navy blue with golden glitter mixed throughout. This is two coats.
Wharf! Wharf! Wharf! is a royal blue texture. There's no way this one could stand up to Alcatraz... Rocks, but I do love the color blue that it is. This is two coats.
It's All San Andreas's Fault is an earthy taupe shade that dries textured, but still with a slightly glossy finish. This is two coats.
Peace & Love & OPI is a great multi-chrome polish that shifts between teal, purple, and green. This is three coats.
A-Piers to Be Tan is a caramel-tan color and had a great formula. This was perfect in two coats. I love shades like this for Thanksgiving!
Lost On Lombard is one of the many reds that this collection didn't need. This garnet shade was good in two coats.
Dining al Frisco is an absolutely stunning sky blue shimmer that had great coverage in two coats. What a beauty!
Incognito in Sausalito is a blackened navy blue shade. This is two coats.
Haven't the Foggiest is a fantastic shade of pewter. I love metallic silver shades but often find them hard to wear, so this is the perfect alternative! This is two coats.
I Knead Sour-Dough is a reddish brown with red shimmer throughout. This is two coats.
Keeping Suzi at Bay is a rich, saturated royal blue that was perfect in two coats.
Embarca-Dare Ya! is a lovely hot pink metallic shade. This is two coats.
Muir Muir on the Wall is a very pretty duochrome that shifts mostly from purple to green. This is two coats, but I think this polish would work very well layered over a black base.
First Date at the Golden Gate is a bright red-orange shade. This is two coats.
In the Cable Car-Pool Lane is a beautiful berry shade, but unfortunately is slightly sheer. This is two coats, but with the darker shade of this polish, I would have expected it to be completely opaque at two coats and it's not.
There are definitely some winners in this collection, but there are also clearly some rather boring and repetitive shades as well. I hate to say it, but I'm underwhelmed. I miss the days when OPI had exciting, innovative collections and weren't half full of red shades. Hoping for a change in 2014!

China Glaze Happy HoliGlaze Collection Review/Swatches & GIVEAWAY!
Good morning all and Happy Veterans Day to all of you veterans out there! Today I have swatches of the newest China Glaze collection, Happy HoliGlaze, for you. I have also teamed up with China Glaze to give away five (5!!) sets of this collection to my readers! You can enter at the bottom of this post! :) This collection is made up of twelve polishes. There is also a limited edition polish called Travel in Colour that I have included in this post that is not part of the collection, but will be available at the same time.
There's Snow One Like You is interesting, to say the least. I've read tons of negative reviews of this one but honestly, I think it's pretty neat. I could see it being used in some winter nail art, although it probably doesn't have many more uses than that. It's very lumpy; what you see here is two coats and it was relatively hard to control.
Santa Red My List is a stunning reddish pink foil. Seriously, this polish is so amazing. This is two coats and they applied perfectly.
Just BeClaws is a gorgeous shimmery red that was perfect in two coats. Another red that I love! What's going on?!
Travel in Colour is a limited edition shimmery, iridescent top coat. This is one coat over Just BeClaws and you can see how it shifts the base color. It would be amazing over darker shades as well!
Mingle With Kringle is a luxurious gold foil polish. This is a bit too yellow to look good with my skin tone, but it's still gorgeous! This is two coats.
Put a Bow On It is made up of fuchsia microglitter. This is two thick coats and if you look closely, you can still see some bare spots near the tips of my nails. I would recommend either layering this over a similar base color or doing three careful coats.
So Blue Without You is another stunning foil finish, this time in a striking shade of sky blue. This is two coats.
Elfin' Around is yet another stunning foil finish. I just love these! This one is a coral red shade and was perfect in two coats.
This is Tree-Mendous is similar to Put a Bow On It in that it is made up of microglitter, but this time it's different shades of green. This is two coats, but again, I would recommend layering this over a similar base color or using three coats for complete coverage.
All Wrapped Up consists of blue/purple microglitter. This is two coats, but yet again, I would recommend layering this over a similar base color or using three coats for complete coverage.
Your Present Required is a fabulous glitter topper consisting of multi-colored glitter in a variety of sizes. I layered one coat here over Zoya Kennedy. LOVE this one!
Bells Will Be Blinging is a mixture of blue, gold, and white glitter in a clear base. This is one coat over Zoya Kristen.
Be Merry, Be Bright is a mixture of purple and magenta glitter in a clear base. I love this one too! This is one coat over OPI My Vampire's Buff.
These polishes are available now wherever China Glaze is sold, but how would you like to win your very own set? Scroll down to enter in the Rafflecopter widget to win one of five sets graciously provided by China Glaze! Two things to note: China Glaze will be shipping the prizes directly to the winners (I do not have the five sets in my possession) and because of shipping regulations, they are only able to offer these prizes to US residents (sorry!!).

OPI DS Lapis & Pewter Review/Swatches
Hey everyone! I have swatches of the newest DS shades by OPI for you this morning. They are awesome so consider yourselves warned!!
DS Lapis is a midnight blue matte with silver glitter. It has a great formula and needs two coats for opacity.
This is DS Lapis with top coat. I honestly can't decide which version I like better! They're both so gorgeous.
DS Pewter is a (you guessed it!) pewter shade with a mix of micro and small silver glitter. This also dries to a matte finish and it slightly textured.
Here is DS Pewter with top coat. Again, perfect either way.
These shades are available now online and wherever OPI is sold. Have you picked either of these up yet? You certainly won't regret it!

China Glaze Monster's Ball Halloween 2013 Collection Review/Swatches
Boo! Today I have swatches of China Glaze's Halloween 2013 collection: Monster's Ball. This collection is made up of five spooky shades and a glow-in-the-dark topper. Let's get started!
Fang-Tastic is a mix of magenta, green, and blue glitter in a clear base. I layered one coat over a royal blue polish here.
Boo-Gie Down is a glitter topper that has a mix of orange, black, and white glitters in a variety of shapes and sizes. This is two coats over a burnt orange polish, love this combo!
Howl You Doin' is a darker, more opaque version of OPI's Merry Midnight. A gorgeous purple base packed with tons of pink, purple, and blue glitter. This is two coats.
Ghoulish Glow is a mostly sheer polish that can be layered over any other polish to make it glow in the dark. I didn't swatch this one because it was daytime when I was working on this collection and you guys know how glow-in-the-dark stuff works. ;) Trust me though, this is very glow-y!
Bat My Eyes is a gorgeous mixture of gold glitter in a black base. So opaque and so stunning. This is two coats.
Bump in the Night is a textured black polish. If you've been around this blog for more than two minutes, you probably know how much a fan of texture I am NOT, but I can get behind this one for Halloween. In fact, I might even actually wear it for Halloween! This is one single coat.
The Monster's Ball collection should be available for purchase now wherever China Glaze is sold. Do any of these polishes catch your eye? Have you picked any up yet? More importantly, what are you being for Halloween?! I'll probably just buy some candy and eat it with my fiancé with our porch light turned off! ;P

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you're all ready for the weekend because I certainly am. Let's kick it off with some gorgeous Pixie Dusts for fall!
Tomoko is a champagne textured shade. This is two coats.
Dhara is a warm red orange shade that needed two coats.
Sunshine is a navy blue shade with lots of sparkle. This is one coat. Weird name for a blue!
Chita is a forest green shade that has a bit of gold shimmer in it. This is one coat.
Arabella is a stunning shade of magenta that was also perfect in one coat.
Carter is a royal purple shade and surprisingly, the sheerest of the bunch. This is two coats and I actually think I could have used three.
The fall Pixie Dusts are on sale at www.zoya.com now and retail for $9 each. Have you picked any of these up? Do you plan to? I think my top picks are Chita and Tomoko, although I do like all of them!
