Revlon Naughty

Revlon Naughty is a re-named version of Revlon Perplex, which is supposedly a dupe for the much coveted Chanel Paradoxal. I picked this up on a whim on the same trip that I found Whimsical (see what I did there??) because they were buy one, get one half off. I'm really glad I decided to try this! Naughty is a dirty purple-gray with very noticeable and gorgeous purple shimmer. I'm really a sucker for purple so it's so surprise that I love this.

The formula was perfect; I need two easy coats for complete opacity and it wore amazingly well also. I would definitely recommend running out and picking up a bottle of this if you don't have it already!

Revlon Whimsical

Is this not the perfect baby shower color? I love it, but all it makes me think of is baby shower cupcakes :P This is two coats of Revlon Whimsical over two coats of Zoya Kristen. The second photo in this post is the more color-accurate of two.

Whimsical is a sheer light blue jelly with blue and pink hex glitter and tiny blue glitter. The glitter is kind of difficult to maneuver, but it's not anything a little bit of patience won't cure. The best part? This is supposedly a dupe for an $18 Deborah Lippmann polish!

Revlon Facets of Fuchsia

I know you guys are probably getting sick of seeing this one by now, but I just found it at Rite Aid a few days ago and I have to share it. This is Revlon Facets of Fuchsia, an awesome black polish with purple hex and tiny round glitter. Want to know something even better? This is apparently a dupe for Deborah Lippmann's Bad Romance. I layered two coats of Facets of Fuchsia over one coat of Wet 'n' Wild Black Creme so that the glitter wouldn't drag when I applied it.

Snakeskin Mani

I've been seeing a lot of these snakeskin manis online and since I was feeling adventurous this past weekend, I thought I'd give it a shot. It was much easier than I expected and it turned out so awesome! Seriously, I can't stop looking at my hands.

First, I painted my nails with two coats of China Glaze Pelican Gray. After that dried completely, I painted some blobs of Revlon Stormy and OPI Skull and Glossbones and mixed them around a little bit. When I was satisfied with that, I stamped the snakeskin image from my Bundle Monster plates with OPI Lincoln Park After Dark and called it a day. What do you think? Have you tried this? Are you going to?

Revlon Carbonite

Before I say anything, I want to send out a big thanks to Sammy at The Nailasaurus for her super sweet compliment on Twitter! Sammy, I know you probably read the comment I left on your post, but your Disney Princess nail art is AMAZING. You are awesome.

Now to the nails...

As you all are reading this, I'm sitting through my first day back in class. Booooo :( I might go to Ulta afterwards though, so that will (hopefully) make my day better. I have Revlon Carbonite to show you today, which I found a whole display of at Wegman's. This color is really cool... I guess the best way I can describe it is a darkened silver or some other type of metal, maybe iron? I used two coats and had zero application issues; I'm very pleased with my first Revlon purchase.

Yes, my stamps are crooked. Stamping straight is really hard! I wanted the stamps closer to my tips as well, but this is what I got. I guess some more practice is in order...
