Good morning! I have an absolutely lovely winter collection to share with you today, the Twinkle collection from China Glaze. Winter collections are often hit or miss for me and I'm glad to report that this one is a hit!
I'd Melt for You is a beautiful silver chrome. Be careful with brush strokes on this one, but two coats covers well if you're careful. This is also great for stamping!
Tip Your Hat is a bright festive red. I'm wearing two coats.
Chillin' With My Snow-mies has different sizes of white hexagon glitter in a clear base. Too much base, not enough glitter. I love how this looks but I had to pretty much dig out each of these glitters and place it on the nails. I'm wearing it over Tip Your Hat.
A December to Remember is a turquoise-leaning blue metallic with pink micro glitter. This is two coats.
Define Good... is a rich red shimmer with a hint of pink. I know I normally hate reds, but I do love this type. It just glows! This is two coats.
Dancing & Prancing is a beautiful confetti glitter. I'm wearing one coat over Define Good... and I love this combination.
Out Like a Light is a muted deep teal. I absolutely love this shade! This is two coats and the formula was great.
De-Light is a golden glitter topper with silver bar glitter. This is two coat over Out Like a Light.
Feeling Twinkly is an icy blue glitter topper. I'm wearing two coats with no base; this would probably cover pretty well in three or four coats.
Meet Me Under the Stars is so stunning! This is a super dark blackish blue with tons of glitter. I'm wearing two coats.
Pine-ing for Glitter is a glitter topper in a unique green shade. This is two coats over no base.
No Peeking! is a silvery purple almost metallic shade. I had a little bit of an issue with brush strokes here, so be careful. This is two coats.
There's a lot of winners in this group, but I have to say my favorites are Meet Me Under the Stars and Define Good... How about you? Are any of these shades on your wish list? You can get yourself this collection anywhere that China Glaze is sold.

TDOCNAS 2014: Day 9: Festive Negative Space Nail Art
I've seen this "negative space" nail art popping up a lot recently and thought I would give it a try with a holiday twist. I wasn't sure how I felt about them before I tried one, but it turns out that I really love them! I might even wind up wearing this as my actual Christmas manicure.
To create this design, I applied one coat of KBShimmer Basic Training base coat and let it dry completely. Once that was done, I used KBShimmer straight nail vinyls to block off the parts where I wanted my natural nail to show through and painted Zoya Ziv near the cuticles, China Glaze Jolly Holly in the center, and China Glaze Cranberry Splash near the tips (can you tell that those are my absolute favorite holiday polish shades?).

SquareHue December Box Review & Swatches
This month's SquareHue box was inspired by the Finnish town of Rovaniemi, which is supposedly the hometown of Santa Claus. Not surprisingly, the three shades in this box are Christmas-themed!
Joulupukin Pajakyla is a beautiful ruby red with a stunning red shimmer. Great formula and coverage in two easy coats.
Sampokeskus is a textured straw gold with glitter. It dries more matte than textured, but still very pretty. This first picture is two coats with no top coat and the second is with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.
Revontuli is my favorite color in the trio, but had the worst formula. It dries to a pretty suede finish, but the formula is thick and doesn't even itself out. I like it best with top coat, as seen in the second photo. It has so much dimension when it's shiny! This is two coats.
Are you digging these shades? I have to say that I love them even though the formula was a bit lacking this month. You can sign up for your own SquareHue box by visiting their website, www.squarehue.com!

Dotted Thanksgiving/Autumn Nail Art
I know, I know, it's not Thanksgiving yet, but this is what I will actually be wearing on my nails for tomorrow. I do have something adorable ready for tomorrow's post, but they aren't what I actually went with for my Thanksgiving nail art so I wanted to post these today. I've been loving dotted designs lately, so I figured I would try one with some autumnal colors!
I started out with a base of my favorite neutral, OPI My Vampire is Buff. I used a medium sized dotting tool to create half moon shapes with China Glaze Harvest Moon and then another half moon shape inside of the first ones with SquareHue Crown Street. To finish the design, I dotted Zoya Ziv with a tiny dotting tool inside the larger dotted arches and applied my top coat.
I love dotted nail art because it looks so intricate but is so simple to create! What are you wearing on your nails for Thanksgiving?

Good morning! I hope you guys had a great weekend! But anyway, I have the SquareHue September box to share with you today. The theme is Sydney and these three shades are stunning!
King Street is a dark brick shade that has a fantastic formula. This is two coats.
Oxford Street is a warm golden orange shimmer polish. Two coats here.
Crown Street is a stunning burnt orange shade with gold shimmer. Absolutely perfect for your Thanksgiving mani! I'm wearing two coats.

KBShimmer Winter 2014 Collection Swatches & Review
Look who is posting a season-appropriate collection! Ha! I got the KBShimmer Winter collection in the mail last week and knew there was no way I could wait to swatch it. Once again, KBShimmer has totally nailed it!
Flake Dance is a glitter topper that is totally packed with holographic glitter and snowflakes. The snowflakes come out of the bottle so easily! I'm wearing one coat over China Glaze What Are You A-Freight Of?.
White Here, White Now is an awesome white textured polish that has white glitter in it to look like snow. KBShimmer pulled this off way better than China Glaze did last year... just sayin'. This is two coats.
Let's Sleigh Together is a creamy light gray with green and blue glitter. I absolutely love these opaque, light-colored bases with glitter! This is two coats.
Pine-ing for Yule is a fabulous little glitter topper with holographic glitter, green triangles, and red stars, meant to mimic a Christmas tree. It's also the 2014 Toys for Tots charity polish. This is two coats over China Glaze Don't Get Derailed.
Kringle All the Way is a repromoted polish and one of my favorite ever from KBShimmer. This glitter topper is packed with red, green, silver, and gold round glitter (you know how I love my round glitters!). This is two coats over China Glaze Well Trained.
Spot Sign is the coolest glitter topper I've ever seen! It has leopard spots you guys! The spots are super easy to get out of the bottle and the base also has some holographic silver glitter. This is one coat with some spots dabbed on over China Glaze All Aboard.
Mauve On Over has a beautiful mauvey lavender base with blue and orange glitter. This is such a unique combination! I'm wearing three thin coats.
Deja Brew is a stunning milk chocolate holographic polish. Formula and coverage is amazing; this is two coats.
Turnip the Beet is a berry pink glitter polish that dries to a textured matte finish. I haven't really been crazy about the textured polish trend, but these are executed so well! The base is tinted, so you can get opaque coverage in two coats.
Dressed to Gild is packed with gorgeous gold glitter interspersed with green and purple that dries to a textured matte finish. This one wound up a little sheer around the tips and could probably have used a third coat to be safe.
Too Cold to Hold is a stunning icy blue polish packed to the max with glitter. This is my favorite of the textured polishes in this collection; I'm wearing two coats.
Fallen Angle is rich medium blue jelly polish with pink, purple, and blue glitter. There are also triangle glitters in there but unfortunately I didn't wind up with any on my nails. This is three thin coats.
Merry Pinkmas is a repromote from last year, a baby pink base with holiday-colored glitter. I'm wearing two coats.
Sugar Plum Faerie is a medium purple with pink, green, and blue glitter and is also a repromoted shade. This is three thin coats.
All Decked Out was brought back too and for good reason! This deep forest green jelly is the perfect holiday shade, with glitter mimicking ornaments and gold stars to top it off. I'm wearing three thin coats.
Snow Way is the most fantastic winter shade ever. This baby blue is filled with small and large white hexagon glitter and a little bit of silver holographic shimmer. I'm wearing two coats.
Holly Back Girl is my hands down favorite! This white-based polish with red and green glitter just screams Christmas spirit to me and I can't wait to wear it once it gets closer to Christmas. This is three thin coats.
Are you as totally in love with these shades as I am? KBShimmer NEVER disappoints me and this collection is so fabulous and festive! As if the polishes aren't awesome enough as it is, KBShimmer is also offering the following deals for the holiday shopping season:

OPI Nordic Collection Swatches & Review
Good morning! The OPI Nordic collection was tempting me on my desk so I decided to swatch and post it next. This twelve piece collection was inspired by the Nordic countries and is so fun! OPI sometimes gets a little repetitive with their collection (who needs six reds in a holiday collection???), but this one knocked it out of the park! Let's get started...
My Dogsled is a Hybrid is a beautiful jade green creme. This is two coats.
Going My Way or Norway? is a nice camel tan. I don't think this one looks particularly good on me, but I love the color. Two coats here.
Can't Afjord Not To is a knockout! This creamy, dreamy orange-based coral is just incredible. I love that OPI added this obvious summertime shade to their fall collection. Perfect formula, perfect coverage in two coats.
Ice-Bergers & Fries is a milk chocolate brown shade. I guess I must not like browns since I don't really like the look of this one on me either, but it'll be great to keep around for nail art. I'm wearing two coats.
Skating on Thin Iceland is a lovely deep raspberry shade. This is two coats and the finish seems jelly-like to me. Three coats would probably give it a total creme finish.
Thank Glogg It's Friday is a gorgeous shimmery pinkish red. I love subtle shimmer like this! I'm wearing two coats and the formula was great.
Viking in a Vinter Vonderland is of course one of my favorites! This deep, eggplant purple is just fabulous! I'm wearing two thin coats.
My Voice is a Little Norse is a holographic silver glitter that can be layered up to be worn on it's own or topped over another shade. I chose to put one coat over Viking in a Vinter Vonderland.
With a Nice Finn-ish is a warm gold shade with a slightly frosty finish that totally glows. I'm normally not a big fan of metal-toned shades but this one is so beautiful. This is two coats.
Do You Have This Color in Stock-holm? is an incredibly bright blue-toned purple. It's so much fun for a fall collection! I'm wearing two coats.
Suzi Has a Swede Tooth is a deep bubble gum pink shade with fabulous coverage in two coats.
How Great is Your Dane? is an amazing dark dirty taupe. I love shades like this! This will be the perfect dark neutral for the winter. Two coats.
What did you think of this collection? I love how unique these shades are and how bright some of them are for being in a fall collection. The Nordic collection is available wherever OPI products are sold.
