SquareHue December Box Review/Swatches

Hello everyone! I have a cool new monthly nail polish subscription program to review for you today. SquareHue is a new program that ships monthly. For each month, you get three full size (0.50 oz) bottles in hip, seasonal colors for $21. However, I have a special promotion code for all of you at the end of this post! ;D

And how fabulous are these bottles? These square bottles will make storage so easy! I also really love the inclusion of the month/year on the bottom labels. The whole design is so modern and attractive; the designers did a really great job!

Champagne Toast is a festive pale gold metallic polish. I used three coats here with no application issues. This is a really elegant color that would look great at any holiday party.

Sugar Plum is a rich, royal purple shimmer. I only needed two coats here but again, no formula issues.

Holly Berry is a bright, shimmery, holiday red that was perfect in two coats.

So are you ready for your special promotion code? From now until Monday, December 24th (Christmas Eve) you can enter promo code DECBLOGGER03 to lock in your subscription price of 14.99/month! Your subscription can be cancelled or paused at any time, but three months of pausing will result in the cancellation of your service. The code is case sensitive, so make sure you use it exactly as I posted it. For even more information about SquareHue, check out their website here. Will you be signing up?

  3. They are very pretty colors. How fast/well do they dry. I know there are some polishes out there that take forever to dry.

    1. I'd say they have an average-to-fast dry time.

  4. Where do you put in the code? It doesn't really show a place for it.
    Thank you

    1. There is a link at the top of the page before you fill in your info that you have to click on (on mine it was in yellow writing). I think it says something like "Enter Promo Code". I had to look for it too. I hope this helps.

  7. Gorgeous shades! I love all three of them, but today for some reason am especially feeling the purple <3 I love square bottles, too, there's something sophisticated about them.

  8. So that's $21 a month without the code and $14 a month with the code? Seems a little pricey. The colors are beautiful though. I'm kind of tempted.

    1. That'd average out to $4.50/bottle. Not that bad for what looks like really great polish and packaging. Plus the whole "Christmas every month" factor.

  9. Definitely think I will be trying this out. One or two months can't hurt :) I hope if I sign up Friday (payday) these colors are available.

  10. Love these shades - the red is stunning (I probably have something really close already but I still get all crazy over a new shinning red)...the gold is soft and classy - the purple reminds me a little of the one that is in the holiday collection from Color Club this yr.

  12. Your swatches are gorgeous! Do you know if the polishes are 3-free? I couldn't find that info on their website. Thanks!
